Job Reference: NY0703 Live-in Nanny in New York
Job Reference: NY0703 – Live-in Nanny – Mamaroneck, New York
A warm and professional American family is seeking a live-in nanny for their two children: a daughter aged 4 and a son aged 2½. The role is Monday to Friday, up to 12 hours per day, with a start date of May 2026.
During the children’s nursery and school hours (9:00 am to 2:00 pm), the nanny will assist with children’s laundry, tidying, and light child-related errands. The family will employ a housekeeper responsible for the general upkeep of the home.
About the Children:
The daughter is currently in Pre-K in Manhattan and will begin Kindergarten in Westchester next year.
The son attends two nursery programs (one is 2 days a week and the other is 3)
About the Family:
The mother is a dual citizen, with her parents being English. The family regularly travels, including trips to California, Utah, the Hamptons in summer, and the Berkshires in winter, and there may be opportunities for the nanny to accompany them on trips.
The family may have another child in the future, in which case a maternity nurse would be employed for the initial months.
Location & Accommodation:
The family is relocating to a six-bedroom home in Mamaroneck, New York, with ocean views and direct access to a private beach.
The home is approximately 7 minutes from the train station, providing a direct train to Grand Central Station in Manhattan (35 minutes journey, trains depart every 30 minutes). The nanny will have access to a family car.
The nanny’s accommodation includes a private bedroom and en-suite bathroom on the first floor, separate from the children on the second floor and the parents on the third floor. The room is spacious, well-lit, and private, allowing for both proximity to the children while on duty and privacy off duty.
Role & Responsibilities:
The nanny will be expected to manage daily routines independently, plan age-appropriate activities, and organize playdates and outings (e.g., zoo, museums).
The nanny will provide consistent boundaries to help raise polite, confident, and happy children.
While the nanny will often be on sole charge, shared care with the parents may occur during weekday evenings.
The family values someone who is warm, professional, proactive, and reliable, with excellent organisational skills, able to integrate smoothly into the household.
Qualifications & Preferences:
Experience with children of similar ages is essential.
British candidates are preferred due to the mother’s family background. European candidates with excellent English may apply as well.
Candidates with a US passport or Green Card are preferred, though visa sponsorship may be available.
Driver preferred.
Salary & Benefits:
£75,000 gross per year, with potential for increase after one year if the nanny remains in the role.
28 days annual leave.
Annual CPD allowance of £170.
One return flight home per year.

Job Reference: LE1902 Russian Mathematics Tutor in Surrey
Job Ref: LE1902 – Russian Mathematics Tutor
We are seeking a highly qualified Russian Mathematics Tutor for an 8-year-old boy who is currently home educated.
3–4 sessions per week (duration per session to be agreed)
In-person tuition at the family home in Oxshott, Leatherhead, Surrey
Their priority is a thorough, systematic mastery of the core curriculum, with clear progression to Olympiad-level mathematics once the foundations are securely established. Depth of understanding is more important than acceleration without consolidation.

Experience teaching in specialist mathematics programmes (e.g. Matclass 2x2, School 57, L2Sh), or equivalent rigorous mathematical environments
Proven experience preparing students for Mathematics Olympiads in Russia

Job Reference: SU1902 Male Governor in Surrey
SU1902 – Male Governor Role
Oxshott, Surrey
A Russian family living in Oxshott, Surrey are looking for an educated male Governor / Educational Mentor for their Russian and English speaking son.
We are seeking to appoint a Male Governor / Educational Mentor for an 8½-year-old bilingual (Russian/English) boy who has been home educated for several years within a structured and well-established framework.
They currently engage dedicated tutors for Russian and English, while overseeing the remaining subjects internally. As he has now progressed beyond the early-years support stage, they require a professional who can assume full responsibility for his academic direction, personal development, and daily structure.
This is a non-residential position, 3 or 4 days per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
We are not seeking a conventional or purely academic profile. Our objective is to appoint a modern, charismatic, and energetic mentor who can make learning dynamic, engaging, and intellectually stimulating.
• Academic Leadership – Taking ownership of core subjects (Mathematics, Science, and Humanities), while coordinating the wider home education programme to ensure he remains academically stretched and ahead of age expectations.
• Creative and Contemporary Pedagogy – We strongly value project-based learning and a practical, hands-on approach. Lessons should be varied, stimulating, and curiosity-led, using real-world experiences as an extension of the classroom rather than relying solely on textbooks.
• Mentorship and Role Modelling – Someone capable of engaging in thoughtful, intellectually mature conversations, instilling confidence, etiquette, and social awareness, and serving as a strong, active male role model.
• Lifestyle and Travel – The role requires flexibility and readiness to travel. The family travels frequently and would expect the Governor to accompany them and integrate educational value into each trip.
• Bilingual Environment – While the candidate should be a native British educator, they must feel comfortable working within a bilingual household and collaborating effectively with his existing tutors.
In essence, we are looking for an individual who can combine structure, discipline, and academic rigour with a contemporary, relatable approach that resonates with an 8-year-old boy.
The boy is intelligent, bright, active, quick, and curious, with a strong personality. He loves animals and reptiles, particularly biology.
The Governor should have a teaching/tutoring background or be degree educated.
For a four-day week, the salary range would be £960–£1,200 net per week, equivalent to approximately £81,600–£106,372 gross per annum.
For a three-day week, the salary range would be £720–£900 net per week, equivalent to approximately £61,200–£79,779 gross per annum.
