Certification: CPD accredited.

Requirements: Access to an Internet connection.

Qualification: Upon completion of this CPD Accredited course, you will be able to practise as a Montessori Teacher Assistant.

Duration: 6 Months.  

COURSE OVERVIEW

The course is composed of 6 modules, each requiring an assignment and quiz to be completed before moving onto the next module. For each unit you will receive feedback and development support by an expert Montessori Teacher. Upon completion of all 6 modules, you will receive a Montessori Assistant Certificate.

Our Online learning Platform contains 6 modules related to the theoretical and practical knowledge you need to start your Montessori journey.

1. The Montessori theory and who is Dr. Montessori?

2. Practical Life and all the activities to implement in your nursery or at home

3. Sensorial activities and the reasoning behind it.

4. The Montessori method for Language and all the Language materials

5. Mathematics Montessori materials up to the age of 5 years old

6. The Cultural materials

Assessment

There are various assignments for each module and throughout the course. Assignments within the programme vary in style:

Online tests

Written assignments

After completing each module, you will be given an online test and a written assignment, which will be marked and returned by your dedicated mentor.

Remaining modules cannot be unlocked until the online test and assignment have been passed.

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to assist a Montessori Teacher in a Montessori Pre-school.

What can I do with this qualification?

MAA graduates have the knowledge and skills needed by the Montessori community to work in a Montessori setting supporting a Montessori teacher.

This Online Course counts as 40 credits to the Montessori Diploma course.

We advise all students to progress to the Level 3 Early Years Educator as well as the Montessori Diploma.

This Online Course is a CPD Accredited qualification awarded by Montessori Apprentice Academy and approved by CPD.

You can begin the course at the beginning of the month, after your payment has been received. You will create your login details during the checkout process. We will also send you an email confirming your login details.
